Global Outreach Strategy | GRN launch
The launch of GRN
BLACMEX continues to build international connections through our newly launched virtual outreach strategy, "The Global Roundtable Network". The network is designed exclusively for global music and talent stakeholders, looking to establish and develop valuable connections in what is truly a genuine music export space, where buyers meet sellers!
By building on UK Black diaspora-based genres, soft power connections with export partners and talent-supportive organisations, we champion export opportunities, with a particular emphasis on providing access to underrepresented UK Black music genres which all contribute to a greater viability, visibility and access to global music markets.
On Tuesday 20th May 2025 the first of four BLACMEX curated sessions, The Global Roundtable Network. The agenda focused on collaborative brokerage, active networking, and knowledge exchange on import & export processes, building towards tangible music and talent opportunities for Black music genres. The session included representation from; Australia, Ireland, Kenya , Nigeria, UK (with specific representation from England and the devolved Scotland nation.
